making things feel right

most software feels like cardboard you click a button and it just sits there staring at you or you click a tab and the whole page jumps like it got scared we wanted to build something that feels more like a heavy wooden door clicking shut or a perfect brass dial on an old radio

so we spent a really long time on the tiny things the things you don't usually get a week to work on like buttons that know how heavy they are menus that don't get lost when you move your mouse too fast and loaders that don't lie to you about how long they will take

there are no packages here no config files with fifty options you don't want just a file you copy into your project once you copy it it belongs to you you can change the colors you can change the springs you can break it and put it back together

the ten chapters

we didn't organize this by buttons and inputs we organized it by what you are doing when you touch the screen
